I have a situation here,

 

I am on H4 dependent visa and wife holding H1B both valid until Jan-2014 and my wife company planning to file extension now. I am planning to travel to India in Oct'2013 and come back in Dec'2013.

 

Can I travel to India and come back during H1B extension filed along with my H4 extension in process.

 

Kindly suggest.

You should be fine. At the time of coming back to US both your extensions would have been approved and so carry a copy of her approved extension too and show it to officer at POE
