Ddk28
I'm currently working on a H1. If I get a H4 and quit my job and my employer revokes my H1, if I plan on getting an employment later, will my new employer be able to file a H1 based on my old petition approval notice. Or do I have to wait for the yearly H1-B cap? Link to comment

As long as you have not utilized 6 years of your maximum allowed time in H1B a new employer can file a cap exempt H1B petition and upon approval you can start to work Link to comment
omshiv
your new employer should be able to file your H1 immediately...provided your 6 yr H1 is not over. Link to comment
