Need to travel while H1 is in processing

Hi,

 

I am currently on H4 status in US with COS approved. This year my H1b processing started with new employer and it is still under RFE processing. I need to travel india now for some work. Is this safe or my H1 processing is cancelled?

 

Can i go for H4 stamping if my H1 is approved while i am in India. or should i go for H1 only.

 

Any impact on H4 stamping as my H1 is under process. Please suggest me the safe way. I am confused :(

Some friends said that H4-H1 COS may be a problem later.Is this true..
