Chances of getting 221g again

Hi

I am a mechanical engineer (FTE), currently working on an H1B visa for a big company. Last year I got my I-140 approved in EB2. I plan on going to either Calgary or India (Chennai or Hyderabad) for visa stamping. Which one is the best option?

I had a very bad experience in the past. In 2009, I travelled to India for my marriage and got a 221g. I was stuck for more than 5 months but fortunately my ex-boss was good, he waited for me and got me back. I don't know if my current boss might be that good, knowing what had happened in the past.

Can someone suggest where should be the stamping easy going. I already got 221g for no reason (AAP), what are the chances to get it again.

I have always worked and got paid since the day I graduated, as a FTE, for big corporations. I am nervous to go out for stamping as I has a bad experience.

Consulates does not matter here..you can go anywhere...and moreover since you are a FTE with a big company..stamping should be a smooth process...just take all your documents with you.

any more details on your previous 221g?

If a person gets 221g, then their is some reason for that and only two persons know about the reason.

1.VO

2. H1B employee.

So obviously, we doesn't know what vo thought at that moment and obviously H1 candidate will not expose his BG in any public forum.

BTW, consulates are one and same at ANY location.

I had all the documents that the VO would ever need or ask for...all pay stubs, employer's letter, all tax returns, all marriage documents...

The VO said this might take 2 weeks and checked "additional administrative processing"....but this took 5 months to clear........

If wish I had known the reason for why I got 221G....
