AbhiHingole
Please guide me. I am transferring my H1b from company A to B. Transfer process takes 10-15 days. I have to go to India for some reason in this period. Do I have to be personally in US while transfer process takes place or there wont be any problem if I go India for a week. Link to comment
omshiv
Technically you are safe...but what if Company A withdraws your H1B and Company B's H1 gets denied...you'll be like Tom Hanks in that Movie at JFK Airport. Link to comment

The movie is " The terminal". And, in that case Tom Hanks country's passport is not recognized as his country was taken over by a coup or civil war or some sort of issue and not his visa :) Link to comment
