shweta.pandit
Hi, I have been in chicago for about 2.5 yrs. I had a mole on my face and had recently undergone surgery for the removal. I have my pic on my passport and state-id with my mole on face. Can this create any issue anywhere as I have got it removed? or should I have to change my pics in both the documents? and if so, how can I get it changed in my passport? what will be the procedure? Attorney_15
Whether the features on someone's face have changed will cause an issue is likely to be subject to a particular officer reviewing a document. That being said, someone who is concerned about such an issue arising can certainly carry a copy of medical records regarding the mole removal. Furthermore, it is quite likely that some scar would be evident on the individual's face; the use of a plastic surgeon would likely minimize but not completely eliminate the mark. If one chooses to apply for new passport and id cards, one concerned about this change in features may wish to carry documentation of the procedure. Link to comment
