I would like to visit my parents who are in the Sultanate of Oman/UAE. Would taking a visit visa to these countries and visiting them for a short period affect our GC processing? We are citizens of India, with Passports issued by The Republic of India, but my Country of Birth is UAE - we are planning to use the Cross changeability clause to speed up the EB2 processing once LC is approved (if the Immigration Laws do not change by then) .
