Blanket L-1B to L-1A conversion and extension

Hi,

 

If a Blanket L-1B to L-1A conversion and extension (applied together) is denied after an RFE, can I continue to work legally in the US until the I-94 end date (December 2015)? The visa expires October 2013. The petition itself did not have an end date, probably because it was a Blanket petition.

Generally speaking, a denial issued on a petition to change/extend status would not impact an individual's existing status.
