OPT Extension Application - Wrong I 20

Hi,

 

I am a student valid for STEM extension of OPT. I filed my STEM extension application using an I 20 that was issued by my school an year back. I later found out that the application requires the I 20 to be issued by the school within last 30 days while the I 20 I used was issued by my school ayear back. The school is not ready to issue me a new I 20 now as my EAD has already expired. Am I allowed to continue to work while I wait to hear back from USCIS

Your OPT will be denied cause the old I-20 does not show your STEM enforcement and new dates on it.
