If I need to amendment my H1, Can do H1B amendment with My Bachelor's degree in Mechanical? I have 5 certification in IT Field? 3. Joining to New School for Masters? Can you please guide me what are the options I have? Thank you, Murali.
omshiv Posted September 6, 2013 Report Posted September 6, 2013 even if luckily you got the petition approved from ****...stamping would be a big problem for you.

Since you have used your master's degree I guess you are in trouble. Take a look at this one http://forum.murthy.com/index.php?/topic/61015-school-closed-eligibility-for-eb2/
JoeF Posted September 6, 2013 Report Posted September 6, 2013 That H1 was approved in error. You will either get the visa denied, or USCIS will revoke the H1 at some point. A "degree" from **** can NOT be used for an H1. Period. Have a talk with your lawyer.

Dude, forget about the amendment. First you need see an attorney, you are in trouble for using **** degree. Your H1 is approved based on an invalid degree which means your H1 is also invalid. In other words, I guess you have no valid legal status.
FreeAdvise Posted September 15, 2013 Report Posted September 15, 2013 @muralikumar, There are rules but these rules are obeyed only to some extent and after that there are no rules.. I guess most of the times the decision of examiner depends on the situation and advises given by their supervisors. Which means its purely luck based as per my knowledge. If the university's accreditation was ended in 2008 which means they should have closed by end of 2008 and why would they be running till 2013? If these degrees are invalid then human has a right to demand a refund. I would say they should not invalidate the degrees of former students but current. what happens to the worst, go back mother home and reapply. This place in need of people to develop. So just don't worry and have faith in you and keep your fingers crossed. Just wanted to say that I am fed up with all these people's replies in all types of Immigration forums so I started learning the immigration laws, they are not hard trust me all you need is that some more time in day apart from your work and family time. Good luck brother! Peace!

Good luck brother! Peace! You apparently don't know the law yet. I suggest learning it some more... A university can exist without accreditation. It is just a really bad idea to sign up with such an institution. In particular, it is a really really really bad idea for a foreigner to sign up with such an institution.
