Is H1B amendment required if office moving to a new location in the same city

Hello All,

My whole office is moving to a new bigger  location. I am on H1B visa and all my job duties, job title, salary and everything else remains the same. I understand we need to file an amendment in case there is a material change. The USCIS website does not give a clear definition of what MATERIAL CHANGE constitutes.

 

And so can you please advise if my Lawyer need to file for a H1B amendment or not? If not what do we need to do?

yes, you  need h1b amendment and a new LCA for change in location.

Are you completely sure about it. My move is within 30 miles in the same MSA???

Same situation. My move is within 10 miles in the same MSA. Do we still need to have a new amended petition??
