I am having second thoughts on joining on H1 and have communicated the same to new employer this week. But I don't think attorney's of new employer will be able to prevent the change of status in next 3 weeks, so I was thinking of doing a leapfrog (going to India on Sep 26th and coming back after October 1st). I wanted an opinion on : a) Is it safe? Will there be any issues at immigration desk because of CoS? b) Once new employer revokes my H1 later, will it have any long term impacts especially during processing of Green Card? From reading the forum, I understand many have done it in past without issues, but it will be a bit more assuring if I can get opinion directly. Regards

If not, what happens if you get COS approval after you re-enter US on L1A? (b) It will not have any effect.

Regards I don't think there should be any issues..just carry all your docs
