H1B approved but still on F1, Is next semester(Fall) enrollment needed?

I am on F1 student status , my H1B has been approved. Do I need to register for Fall 2013 semester ? How many days of grace period do I have if I drop out of school ?

H1B starts from oct 1st , 2013 , can I legally stay until then in the US if I don't register for Fall 2013 semester ? Summer semester ended in August.

You need to register for classes, their is no grace period since you are at the middle of F1 program.

There is no grace period. You have to register for Fall 2013 semester.
