H1B Petition denied and appealed

Hi,

Here is my situation. I applied H1B through an US company this year and at petition review itself it got denied due to issues in EE relationship. Now the US company has appealed the decision and result is yet to come. It may take several weeks, they say. In the meantime, my current employer is asking me to file L1A visa. So my H1B decision review process will have any impact on my L1 Process? Please let me know.
