kcas
I came to US in 2004 on F1, graduated and joined a company in 2007 on H1B visa. I was laid off in Dec 2008. I am not sure when my company informed the USCIS that I was no longer on their rolls. I was looking for a job and overstayed until end of April 2009 and then returned to my home country. Now I have an opportunity to visit the US again and my company plans to apply for L1 visa. I am not sure if my current application will be rejected because I overstayed previously. Please let me know if my overstay will cause any problems. Will I be barred from entering USA? Getting tensed. Greatly appreciate your prompt response. Link to comment

There is a possibility that you might get a query about your overstay. VO will take a decision accordingly. Link to comment
