H1B Visa - Expired in Sept 2011 - Renewal Process

Hi,

 

My H1B petition was approved in 2007 Oct with company A. In Dec 2008 my H1B was successfully transfered from company A to B. I got the Visa stamping in March 2009(in India) with company B but never travelled to US.

My visa expired on Sept 2011.

 

What is the best procedure for me to get my H1B renewed (shall i go through the same company B) and what documents might be necessary to get my H1B renewed and also get the visa stamping successfully.

 

Please let me know about your thoughts.

Either your employer B or any other prospective employer can file a cap exempt H1B petition and upon approval with a valid H1B visa stamped to your passport you can enter US.

You can go with any employer. Procedure for H1 renewal is same as new H1, but you will be cap exempt this time.
