Unused H1B VISA Extension after expiration

Hi,
I got  H1B VISA Stamped in passport on March 6th, 2008 and expired on September 30,2010. In I-797B has mentioned H1B Valid from Oct 01, 2007 to September 30, 2010.
I haven't used H1B VISA till now and it got expired. I have moved to another employer now.

Still 6 years has not completed after H1B expiration.  6 years cab will be considered after expiration or from the date of approval. Can I apply for the H1B extension through other employer. Please suggest

Yes, your new employer can file a cap exempt H1B petition.

You are not counted in the Quota..your employer can apply for H1B.
