H1 to L1 conversion, RFE, Eligible to stay in US after H1 Expiry date?

Hi,
My H1 expires on Sept 06 (Max out Date). Company filed COS H1 to L1A Conversion. Yesterday received RFE. 
Am I eligible to stay in US after Sept 06?

 

My I-94 expires on Sept 2014.
If I stay on out of status, will that be a problem for future Travel and GC processing?
Please provide your thoughts.

You have utilized all 6 years on H1B. Why did your employer file for a COS from H1 to L1A? It will be denied as maximum allowed is 6 years which includes stay on H1B and L1. You have to leave US for a year before a prospective employer can file a H1B petition for you. If you stay out of status you have to forget about US.

Maximum time allowed in L1A is 7 years (although time spent in H1B would count against the 7 years allowed.)
