When I was coming back into US last time, I was issued I-94 till Sep 18th 2013 and asked to get new I-94 by re entering into country before current I-94 expired. I'm planning to travel to India on Sep 9th and returning on Oct 4th. Now my question is do I need to come back into country before Sep 19th only or is that acceptable to come into US on Oct 4th by taking new I-94Can someone please enlighten me on this?

You can enter on Oct 4th 2013. But, you need to carry your old passport and new passport.
