Regarding continous payslips required for H4?

Hi,

My H1B is valid till Sept 2014.

I am planning to apply H4 Visa for my wife.

 

I need some clarification regarding continous payslips :

 

My payslips are bi-weekly. I have continuous payslips from June 15th onwards.

During the month of May, I have received 1 payslip for the month as a whole (not bi-weekly), since I had submitted my timesheets late.

 

The issue is that since payslips are generated every 15 days, the payroll system generated the details as below :

 

Start Date : 05/16/2013, End Date : 05/31/2013

 

Pay Date : 06/14/2013.

 

And the amount paid during this period is for the whole month (from 01st May to 31st May).

 

Although I have received the correct/whole salary for the whole of the month of May, the time period shows from 16th to 31st of May (because of the payroll generation method).

 

I am planning to send my wife for stamping on Sept 20th, by which time  I'll have 3 months of continous payslips and 1 payslip (for a whole month before that).

Can you please let me know if this will cause any problems while my wife goes to stamping at the US consulate in Chennai.

OR will they understand the situation?

 

My employer if asking me to wait till I get my Oct 15th payslip so that I'll have 4 months of payslips without any gap.

Please let me know if that is necessary.

It should not be a problem. It is advised to do what your employer says.
