Does Wage level Depend on Job Title?

Hi,

 

Does my wage level depend on my title or is it decided my the company?

My title says I am a systems engineer not an Associate Systems and I verified with the employer that I am a mid level empoyee.

My employer filed my LCA at wage level-1 and he is paying me according to the LCA.

 

 

I checked the FLC website to find out that there is a lot of difference in  the wage level-1 and wage leve-2.

 

can I demand my employer to pay me according to wage level-2 ?

Wage level depends your education + experience + position offered in PERM.

Secondly, what you are asking here is an internal matter between you and your employer. Employer could pay you minimum wages to 1mm a hour, it's upto you and your employer to decide internally.
