member1062 Posted August 23, 2013 Report Posted August 23, 2013 I have my I140 approved and have signed the below agreement with my employer, In the even I decide to leave the employer can he ask me to reimburse the I-140 related expense he incurred Contract -------- All petition-related attorney’s fees and costs associated with Company’s permanent residency sponsorship of Associate (except those legal fees and costs related to the preparation and filing of an application for permanent labor certification with the Department of Labor) are 100% repayable to Company if the Associate voluntarily terminates employment or is terminated “for cause” during the time from initiation of the permanent residency process until he application is approved and granted

JoeF Posted August 23, 2013 Report Posted August 23, 2013 The law only requires that the employer pays for all costs associated with PERM. The line you list says that they do. For all other costs, there can be an agreement for the employee to pay them. And that's what your agreement apparently is. It is valid.
