H1 to H4

Hi, 

 

I am currently in H1B. My contract is ending and I am planning to convert to H4. I already have my H4 and H1 stamped and both are valid. Please help on my below questions:

 

1. SLA for Change of Status approval by USCIS?

2. If I get another job before COS approval, Can I revert ?

3. After COS approval to H4, still my H1B petition is valid?

3. If I get a job while I am in H4, how soon can I convert to H1 again?

2. You can get a H1 petition approved and leave and come back on the H1 visa

3. You entitlement to a total of 6 years in H1 status remains valid.

4. As soon as a H1 petition with COS is approved or a H1 petition is approved and you leave and come back on the H1 visa.
