ID card for H1B Stamping

Hi Seniors,

 

I am planning to go for H1B stamping next month to Canada, i have question regarding ID card which we are suppose to carry with us.

Unfortunatley my client gives simple ID card, they just take the photo, laminate it with employee's name (fir FT and contractors), in short, ID card doesnt mentioned about client name.

I have two questions.

1. Do we really need to carry ID card?

2. If yes, Is it ok if i carry this kind of ID? (i do not want them to think them that it is seld made.)

few companies give that kind of cards...there will not be any name or anything..it just gives u access to get into the building...
