mmartha7482 Posted August 21, 2013 Report Posted August 21, 2013 I will be applying for my labor in another 1 month and my 6 years H1B will be getting expired by October 2014. If my labor gets approved before October 2014 would i be getting 1 year extension for my H1B ?? Thanks in Advance !
pontevecchio Posted August 21, 2013 Report Posted August 21, 2013 PERM pending 365 days plus equals One year H1 extensions beyond 6 years as does I-140 pending 365 days plus. PERM approved means nothing. I-140 approved means 3 year H1 extensions possible beyond the initial 6.
vsreedhar21 Posted October 4, 2013 Report Posted October 4, 2013 PERM approved doesn't mean nothing... if PERM approved and at least I 140 is filed... you will get 1 year extension... if I 140 is also approved... you will get 3 year extensions.
