Simple question .. which date to be considered ?

Hi,

 

I am H1b and as per my I 797 document, my visa expired on 14 Feb 2013, however my I-94 states 14 Mar 2013. Is it safe to assume that i am allowed to stay here legally till 14 Mar 2013. Which date is considered ?

There was a typo in my previous post, please consider year as 2014 and not 2013.

You can stay here till your I94 expires. VISA should be valid only at POE. It doesn't matter if it expires when you are within US.

In case of H1b, you need to consider when is your 6yr period is completing.

You can stay till I94 date, but if its beyond 6yr, then I94 date is not true anymore.
