Visa Stamping for Canada with only one year H1B

Hi ,

 

I have my H1B approval until Sep 30 2014 I am planning to go for a visa stamping in November what are the chances of getting visa stamp I know that I will be getting for one year but is it ok to go for one year stamping. I am currently on OPT my H1B starts from Oct 2013. I came to US on student visa and got my H1B approval this year starts OCT 1 2013 but got approved until Sep 30 2014.

 

Can you suggest if I am ok to go for H1B stamping for ONE year in Canada.
