Working on 2 Different H1-B at same time

Hello Everyone,

    In 2013 I got 2 H1-B approval with Company-A and Company-B. Company-A is consulting firm and I'm working as Contractor with remote work. And from October I have to join Company-B which is Corporate company as Full time. My question is that can I work on Company-A & Company-B at the same time and run 2 payrolls as I have two different H1-B. Please, advise me with what are the options.

Unless and until your H1B petition had been approved as concurrent employment you can not work for two employers at the same time on your H1B.

Employment contracts usually prohibit working for another employer without prior approval.

And how would you manage an 80-hour work week, anyway? This is not burger-flipping...

Would that be at the same time? On a different note people do work extremely long hours in the USA.

On the level required for an H1, that's not quite possible. And if the person is paid hourly, over 8 hours/day usually triggers overtime pay rules.

Sure, in some professions people work long hours, but then there are rest periods required.
