mnm0710 Posted August 17, 2013 Report Posted August 17, 2013 This is for my understanding only, I do not plan to get involved in the process at all. Previous Employer Title: Analysis/Simulation Engineer Previous Employer Experience: 11 Months Current Employer Title: Simulation Multiphysics Engineer (H1B job title) Current Experience: 6 months Proposed Green Card Title: Simulation and Sales Office Lead Technical Engineer Requirements: Master's Degree in Mechanical or related Engineering plus 1 year experience My Qualifications: Bachelors and Master's Degrees in Aerospace Engineering Basically the gist was when I first joined my current company the idea was I would start off as a Simulation Engineer and as I got more comfortable I would transition into this role where I'm the lead technical engineer for one of our sale sites (where I am currently based). So the job duties outlined in the green card job posting is quite a bit different and more involved than the job duties associated with the current H1B job. So how does USCIS handle this whole 51% different to be allowed to use current employer experience? Just a bit confused since technically I only have a Master's and 11 months experience not exactly 12 months?
