Received I-797B without I-94, Can I change Consulate other than mentioned in 797B??

Hi all, 

 

I got my H1B approved starting from Oct 1, 2013 for 3 years but I have received I-797B (without I-94) which indicates that I have to go for stamping in Consulate : Chennai to get my H1 active.

 

Please help me for the below questions and also share if you have ever faced similar issue.

 

1. What would be best thing to do? Going for  Stamping? Or Apply for motion?. I am worrying about stamping because I have EVVC layer and small employer...

2. If I decide to go for stamping, can I go to Canada instead of mentioned Chennai? Is there any risk doing that?

3. Can I expect any questions from VO about why I had to change the consulate to CANADA?

4. what would be the best steps to take in this kind of situation?

If its mentioned Chennai, then you need to go to Chennai. What will you say when VO will ask you this question.

 

The extra VV in the EVVC is all bogus and just there to suck your hard earned $$.
