DS 160 Application ID

Hi,

 

Anybody knows if the application ID generated when you start a new DS 160 is the same as the Barcode number you get on the confirmation page. I wanted to check the available dates for my visa interview right away, as it would take time to fill out the DS 160.

Yes you can use the same DS 160 number which you get initially and use it in the appointment booking website to see or book the dates.

and the DS 160 ID number remains same until you submit it.
