F1 rejection should mention in DS 160?

Recommended Posts

i have a question as well.....when we are on F1 in the US and when we apply for H1 work authorization (not h1 visa stamping), if it gets rejected, does it come under rejection?

when the question says "Do you have any earlier Visa rejections" it means when you attend the visa stamping at consulate and got rejected in your passport.

ooh That means, F1 Rejections(in India) would not be counted in this case?

Basically, in other simple words..what it means is - When you go to the US Consulate for F1 Stamping, be it in India or anywhere else, and if the Visa Officer Reject your Visa, then it is counted as Rejection...and you have to mention this on the DS-160 form.
