Visa Experience @ 8th Aug Vancouver , 221G PIMS not updated

Hello everyone. 

 

I attended my visa interview on Aug 8th @ Vancouver 

 

After all security checks and finger prints I got the famous Counter No : 4 ( Now a days this counter becomes popular for 221 G's)

 

But my interview went well. She asked me all normal questions. 

 

VO: Good Morning 

ME: Good Morning mam.. How are you ?

 

VO: Where do you live?

ME: Answered xxxx

 

VO: What are doing in xxxx

ME: i did not understand her question . 

 

VO:She asked me the same question

ME: Answered , I am working @ ( My Employer company name) 

 

VO:What is your Employer Name

ME: Answered ccccc with full address , When i told her the zip code. She smiled at me and said do you memorize everything ?

I smiled back and covered the answer. 

 

VO: are you with the same employer on OPT

ME: I was with another employer for some time and later moved to the current employer. 

 

VO: From when you are living in xxxx

ME: Answered

 

VO: Where were you before xxxx

ME: answered wwwww

 

VO: Can i see your Labor

ME: Gave her

 

VO: Can i see your I 129 petition

ME Gave her 

 

VO: She looked at my F1 visa paper in my passport. It was mentioned California in that. She got confused and asked visa is saying you are in California , What were you doing at WWWW

ME: Answered I was working in WWWW, I completed my college in Calif

 

VO:She took some white paper and checked the last point Others and wrote PIMS and gave me one Emai Id to check the Status and told me at this time we cannot approve your Visa as your PIMS is not updated. 

ME: I was fully confused at this time and i asked her again is my visa approved or not ? She repeated the same words. That is what we cannot tell for this moment . As we are not seeing your petition online. She kept my passport , I 797 . She asked me whether I need my passport or not. If in that case she said you need to mail the Passport back us. i told her that i can wait.  By this time i was fully confused and , I don't remember VO words on how much time I need to wait to pick my passport. She said 3 to 5 business days or 1 week. i am not able to recall her words. 

 

VO: She also said except PIMS everything is good. 

 

 

Seriously, I took every single document to the interview. And I did not have client letter . She did not even ask me the client name.  

 

 

I came out and when i saw the paper  i saw 221 G in that. 

 

 

Now i am worried about my case. I read lots of forums on the internet and as well as in Murthy Forums. 

 

There are a lot of people who were in the similar situation but they did not receive any 221 G . Infact for them VO said their visa has approved but they need to wait for 3 to 5 business days. 

 

For who got 221 G says PIMS not updated, I am scared after reading these posts. After the interview ( 3 or 4  days) They received some emails asking to provide some documents.

 

 

I am really feeling nervous and don't know what to do , I asked my employer and attorney . The attorney said he can't do anything from his side. He already sent the details when we apply for the H1 Ammendment it self. Home land security needs to update the information. Some time they will delay for new cases. 

 

My case , I recently applied for amendment and that got approved on 24th July 

 

 

My roommate  also applied for amendment and he went to H1 B visa interview on July. Vo said his PIMS is not updated and he needs to wait for a couple days. But he did not receive any 221 G he got that tracking sheet.
