Visa stamping fee paid is specific to a location..?

Hi All,

    I am planning to go for Visa stamping. I moved from F1 to H1B and this is my first stamping on H1B and i want to know if i pay fee for visa date some place in Canada and cancel the date then can i use the same fee to book date in Jamaica or Mexico instead of going to Canada..? Is the fee transferable to any place where USA consulate is available..?

    Your help would be greatly appreciated.

hi i am also f1-> h1, someone in this forum told me we cannot go mexico for first time h1b stamping from f1 status, please clarify it before you go

Hi@Andhrafan, Thanks for your reply and by the way i may not go to Mexico for stamping. When ru going to Jamica..? Do you a date blocked on your name..?
