venkat_myl Posted August 3, 2013 Report Posted August 3, 2013 My sister is currently on OPT and is working here in States. Her H1B was approved in April 2013 and will take effect from October 1 2013. Her kids are currently in India and will be going to the US Consulate to apply for Dependent Visa. Now, do they need to apply to come here as F2 Dependents or H4 Dependents since October 1st is not that far!. Which is a safer route to take. Please advise.
