JoeF Posted August 2, 2013 Report Posted August 2, 2013 Technically, a dependent on L2 can not stay in the US if the primary person on L1 is outside the US. It generally is fine if the person on L1 is just on vacation outside the US, but if the primary is stuff abroad, e.g., due to visa issues, the dependent has to leave the US.
entec21 Posted August 4, 2013 Author Report Posted August 4, 2013 Thanks for reply... however suppose L1 goes for stamping outside US and VISA gets rejected while L2 is still in US with valid status. Now i know that, L2 will also have to leave US however to do so how much maxi days are permitted. To my knowlege L2 needs to leave US within 30 days in such cases.... Pls confirm.
