Can family travel back to India while H1B COS is in process?

Hello friends,

 

My H1B COS (from L1B to H1B) is still in process and might take some time as well.

 

Can my family (wife and son) travel back to India while H1B is in process? I will stay here in USA until I receive the approval/denial of H1B and then travel to India for STAMPING.

 

Could someone please let me know?
