If you have an arrest during the 5 years statutory period while you are on Green card, does it barr you from getting Naturalized

Hi

I was arrested for Domestic Violence and Violation of Protective order. In the plea bargain, Domestic Violence was DISMISSED and found NOT GUILTY FOR Violation of Protective order but had to plea no contest on Disorderly conduct. For which I paid 500 fine and 90 days ACD. So Can I File for Naturalization and will it get denied becz of this arrest during the 5 year period ?

 

Can someone advice ? I have already talked to an Immigration lawyer but they are giving different answers. And Disorderly conduct is not a CMT

Help yourself and give the firm of Murthy a call. Alternatively file for Naturalization and see what happens.
