Request for Evidence Response Review processing time

My attorney submitted the RFE response and now the status reads as under

 

Request for Evidence Response Review

On July 31, 2013, we received your response to our request for evidence. This case is being processed at our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location. (etc, etc)

 

 

Now, can some who has experienced this stage, confirm how much time can it take to move forward? The site says

 

You should expect to receive a written decision or written update within 60 days of the date we received your response unless (etc, etc) 

 

But does it really take 2 months? Also, what is the trend in these cases for the current year

It depends, sometimes you will get the response very fast than expected.

(I am assuming you are referring to RFE on H-1b)

Usually, after submission of RFE response, the clocks restarts all over again - meaning, for premium processing, it takes 15 days from the receipt at USCIS and for regular, it takes 4 months after the receipt of response at USCIS.

However, it could be faster also.

It shows RFE Response Review... In the USCIS website it says "You should expect a decision within 60 days"  so waiting for it. Anyone received decision? If so in how many days?

What's the reason for denial? Wait till you hear something from your attorney, and if nothing wrong from your end only OPTION is MTR.

 

BTW what was the RFE about??

FYI - i got an RFE. The lawyer submitted the evidence on 8/21. The answer came back positive for me on 9/9.

                        receipt : 25-Apr-2013 (Lottery)
RFE : 26-Aug-2013

RFE about vendor-client related, performance management, etc  .....
RFE response submitted : 16-Oct-2013
Approval email alert : 07-Nov-2013.
