Sunny D Posted July 31, 2013 Report Posted July 31, 2013 Went for a H-1 Stamping on the 15th July 2013 (EVC) model in Ottawa and was given a 221G. My client manager got an email last week which was promptly responded..This is the third week and I have no update from the consulate. I should contact the consulate?
shital Posted July 31, 2013 Report Posted July 31, 2013 hey Can you please tell what questions were asked to you?
vancouver11 Posted August 1, 2013 Report Posted August 1, 2013 Yes. You should contact consulate. My friends also contacted consulate after two weeks and they respond in two days.
Sunny D Posted August 1, 2013 Author Report Posted August 1, 2013 hey Can you please tell what questions were asked to you? The experience is similar to what the other folks have posted on the forums. Interview was at 10:30 AM and the VO already has your information (from the DS 160 application we fill online). Asked some routine questions like who is your employer, do you work at a different location than your employer, do you have a vendor in between, How big is your company (employer), Then he asked for my End Client Letter, Vendor Letter and my Employment Letter. Also took my I-129, I-797 and returned the passport and a white 221g form and said this could take a couple of weeks. Still not heard back yet.
itsmeusa Posted August 1, 2013 Report Posted August 1, 2013 Please read my experience here. Contacting visa consulate can help, but doesn't advance your case. http://forum.murthy.com/index.php?/topic/52866-h-1b-visa-interview-at-toronto-admin-processing-and-successful-visa-stamping/
