vqa11 Posted July 30, 2013 Report Posted July 30, 2013 Hi All, First of all thanks to everyone for sharing their experience here. My interview was today , went to the consulate and all regular checks were done and sent me to 20th floor. Waited there for a while and my number has been called @ counter 6. These are the questions: 1. How long in US? 2.Did you go to school here? 3.Which university? 4.What did u study? 5.Specialization? 6.When did u graduate? 7.What did u do after ur graduation? 8.How many employers? 9.Only one employer for all the time?? 10.Whats you employer company name?what do they do? 11.Is your employer your end client? 12.Who is your end client? 13.with How many clients have you worked till now? 14.How long with the current client? 15.whats your client name? 16.Where is your client located? 17.where is your employer located? 18.whats your position with client? 19.what do you do for them? 20.what does you employer company do? 21.Asked for LCA, Pay stubs, offer letter, I-129? 22. whats your salary? 23.Y are you getting paid more? I said performance @ client and bonus 24.according to my math you should be getting xx k per month , but your pay stubs are showing more than that?you are getting paid more every month? so every month performance & bonus ha?? 25.what do you do for the client? 26.do u know how much is your salary? I said whatever has been mentioned on my LCA, Then he said that number is on your LCA, but im talking about your actual salary? again I gave the same answer. he said thats not the answer for this question. Then I told him if i do the math my salary is coming around **k. Then he asked do u think so? I said yes. 27.Do you have client letter? 28.He asked me about my prime vendor? 29. where is your prime vendor located? 30.whats the relation between you and prime vendor? I said im working to client through them. He said I know that, but whats the relation. I answered no relation. Then he asked me so no communication with prime vendor, no calls, no paperwork? I said no relation, i dont communicate with them. then he kept on typing for 5 mins and finally he said your visa is approved, collect your passport. Thanks Guys....Wish you good luck....
saiara Posted July 31, 2013 Report Posted July 31, 2013 Hmmm...looks like interviews at Vancouver getting longr than normal now a days.... Congratulations on your Visa stamping. Thanks for sharing.
Guest Posted July 31, 2013 Report Posted July 31, 2013 congrats...long interview though.. when VO asks for salary, we should mention what we are getting paid as per paycheck...not whats on LCA....LCA just shows the minimum we will get paid... i think this is the reason why VO asked many times about the salary.
