H1B stamping at ottawa september PLEASE HELP

Hello friend,

 

I works as FTE for one of the manufacturing Client/Company and planning to go for first H1B stamping in Ottawa. I was on OPT when I join this client in april 2012 and they did my H1B in oct 2012.

 

1) Please let me know if Ottawa is good for FTE stamping( Ottawa or India which is better)?

 

2) what documents should I carry with me (client wont give tax returns) but financial statements are available online for past 5 years is that enough?

 

3) Should I worry abt PIMs update?

 

4) what questions will be ask?

 

5) what should be answer to question by VO "why u came for stamping here" and not india?

 

Please help, although I am FTE for this client since 1.5 years I am very nervous abt my stamping. and my company lawyer said that we don't recommend you to go to Canada as u should get stamp from your home country only is this true?

1. Any consulate is good

2.Yes that's enough. Ask your attorney for more details, usually all H1 related documents and your educational documents are req.

4. Any questions. It all depends on your case

5. No one knows why you went to Canada, so tell the truth. You can't say that one of the guy told me to go.

Is it not good option to go to Ottawa?

When any consulate will treat you similar as your documents are same whichever consulate you go. Everything depends case by case. 

Now its your turn to think about which consulate to go.
