Two I-94 exist in CBP

I am in USA on H1B visa. I recently travelled to vancouver, Canada by air for a week. Wile returning, my Indian passport was stamped with entry date and end date was re-validated (marked R instead of date) which means end date to remain in USA is still the same.

I am able to view both my old I-94 (with Aug 2011 entry date from India) and new I-94 (July 2013 entry date from Canada) on CBP website. Both I-94 have different numbers but same expiry date. Should my old I-94 record not be deleted from CBP. I am confused why it shows 2 I-94 and whether it will create any issues in future.
