rahul412 Posted July 30, 2013 Report Posted July 30, 2013 Thanks for sharing. what answer you gave for "Are you on bench?" Whatever it is dude, it won't change your outcome. Just tell the truth.
pavan_avnr Posted July 30, 2013 Report Posted July 30, 2013 Congrats. Any updates on your passport? I did not get any notification on my passport pick up.
Balu_chata Posted July 31, 2013 Report Posted July 31, 2013 just pretend that as if you never heard about the word bench.....since as you are the full time employee of your employer you should always get paid regardless of weather you hv a project or not(client)

Everybody in the world is different and so their case is different as well. I asked ksimha what answer he/she gave. Definitely it will impact when you are on bench and nobody will pay you when you don't have any work. Number of days/months on bench is not a argument point here.

If you have no work then that means your H1 is invalid, even when you are on bench and your employer still holds your H1 that means he has a job for you and has to pay you even when you are on bench.

Your outcome will change based on your case. bench/no pay will impact your visa approval.
mansamf Posted August 1, 2013 Report Posted August 1, 2013 If you have all required documents in place then you are good to go any US consulate irrespective of Home county or Canada. All US consulate works same way. Search the earlier posts you will get an idea of current trend.
