What,s processing time for foreigner to get US green card when married to US green card holder?

Right now I'm on H1B visa, and my girl friend recently got US green card through lottery program. What options are there for me to get the US green.

Marrying for an immigration benefit is illegal.

Having said that, if you are married to a Permanent Resident, that PR can sponsor a GC for you in Family category 2A.

I have a question related to this. My Daughter got the GC as my dependant when she was a minor. She moved to India for her college eduction and maintaining the GC with Re-Entry permit. She completed her education and got married 4 months ago.

Both of them are now living in India.

Can she apply GC for her husband ?.

Does she need to live in US to apply that?

What is the process?.
and how long it will take for him to get that?.
