Toronto 221g to Approved in 90 days

I wanted to post my experience so everyone on the forum would benefit from it.

 

H1B Visa interview in Toronto on March 2013.

 

Visa officer asked simple questions like where do you work, what do you do, where did you go to school, what was your major, etc. but did not ask for any documents.

 

Since my major is listed on the TAL list the visa officer said they would need to do administrative processing on my case.

July 2013 my case was approved and got my visa within 2 days of notification.

 

I also contacted my Senator and Congressmen a couple of times and asked them to make an inquiry on my behalf.

I was in Canada the entire time. I was staying with a friend.
