Experts can you please advice - RFE for evidence of work authorization - Not primary

Just received the hard copy of the RFE for my wife from NSC to my home address but did not get mine. I believe my RFE went to my attorney. I am the primary and she is the beneficiary. her RFE says 

- Request for submitting current, properly completed form G-325 A 
- Evidence of your work authorization from Sep 1 2012 to present 

My wife used to work on EAD from 2008 to July 2012 but from the past one year she was not working so did not renewed her EAD after it got expired in Sep 1 2012. I believe we can say the same as she was the beneficiary and I am the primary. Are there any one with similar RFE's or anyone who know how to provide the evidence they requested. Please throw / share your thoughts.

1. Talk to your Lawyer.

2. Have the G-325 submitted.

3. Inform them of the relevant facts.

She should attach a letter stating that she did not have work authorization during that period of time. Include a copy of the last EAD. The G-325 will have her work dates, so it should not be a problem.
