thunabathuku Posted July 25, 2013 Report Share Posted July 25, 2013 whoever planning to visit vancouver for H1b stamping take a room in Richmond(preferably in a motel which is a chain..like holiday inn..etc)...just 20 to 30 mins drive to the consulate...accomodation in the downtown is way too expensive..you will get a small room for 100$ ... maalage Posted July 27, 2013 Report Share Posted July 27, 2013 Hello, If you are willing to pay about $170 or so, you may want to stay in the Days Inn Downtown Vancouver hotel on the eve of the interview and then move somewhere cheaper until you get your visa. I had stayed there back in 2010 and its just a 2 min walk to the consulate and it is a hotel at a great price considering the location. All the best in your interviews!
