H1 Maxing out - Family sponsored GC

Hi, My H1B visa is maxing out in 10months. Can my brother file for my Family GC and I can continue to stay in US and work? Or since my work visa will expire, I will not be allowed to work even if I stay on?

You can NOT extend an H1 based on a family-based GC application.

That only works with an employment-based application.

Sibling petitions take many years. You will need to exit and wait until you have been outside the US for a year when an employer can file for a new 3 year (6 total with extensions) period under the quota.

Is your bro Citizen? Also what about your employer? Wouldnt they sponsor your GC?
