GC Process - Position transition - QA to DEV

This is for one of my friend. He is on H1 B with 7 years of experience in Testing and planning to move to Development, then apply for GC. Could you please tell me if gets a problem in GC because of his transition.

You cannot apply for GC.

Employer has to sponsor GC and that job should match your experience.

Firstly moving from one technology to another shouldnt be an issue.

 

2ndly you dont apply for GC...your employer does.
